Jules downloaded Portuguese first, because a friend in São Paulo had promised to watch the short film the following week. As the installer ran, memory bars climbed like a film countdown. The progress window was small but decisive: 23%... 67%... 100%. The interface shifted: menus unspooled in new patterns, button labels that once read "Effects" now said "Efeitos," and the timeline's contextual text settled into a cadence Jules could almost hear.
