Some tools can extract the assets (textures, sounds, and models) from a .jar and repackage them into an .mcpack . These are mostly for Resource Packs , not complex logic mods.
A .jar file is essentially a renamed .zip folder. Right-click your .jar file and select Rename . Change the extension from .jar to .zip . Extract the contents. Look for the convert jar to mcpack
