EKB Install was built for the Windows XP and Windows 7 era. While it can sometimes be coerced into running on Windows 10, it often encounters "Hash Mismatch" errors or requires running in "Windows XP SP3 Compatibility Mode." On Windows 11, the tool is highly unstable. As the industry upgrades OS versions, EKB Install is slowly dying out due to technical incompatibility.
