The final boss—referred to in-game as Kil'Nos, The Unblinking Eye —has an attack called "Solar Flare Gaze." It deals damage based on your GPU temperature (yes, the game actually reads your hardware temperature). If your computer is running hot in real life, the boss deals critical damage.
