Open the included with the NanoCAD installation. Select "Manually" or "Request license file" . You will be prompted to save a .request file.

Once activated, the software stores the license file locally. If you need to move it or back it up, you can usually find it in the following directory: C:\ProgramData\Nanosoft\RegWizard\Licenses Nanocad 5 License File
