Prior to the 2017 updates, installing a Language Pack on an OS with a differing locale code page (e.g., installing Japanese AutoCAD on an English Windows OS) often resulted in "Mojibake" (garbled text) or installation errors.

If you want to change the default launch language: Autocad 2017 Language Pack

A: Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features. Find "AutoCAD 2017 Language Pack - [Language]" and uninstall. Then manually delete the leftover language folder to be safe. Prior to the 2017 updates, installing a Language
