If you own GTA 5 outside of Steam or prefer a method not tied to Steam:
They modify the GTA5.exe to bypass the DLL calls that check for RockstarService.exe . Essentially, they trick the game into thinking the launcher is running when it isn't. play gta 5 without rockstar launcher
