Sonam Kapoor’s Milli speaks a very modern, Delhi-Gurgaon slang mixed with English. The contrast between her street-smart quips (which often get lost in dubbing) and the royal court's formal Hindi is hilarious only if you see the translation. Subtitles allow you to appreciate the linguistic class warfare happening in every scene.
