The second season of Stranger Things, released in 2017, continues where the first season left off. The story takes place in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, in the year 1984. The gang, consisting of Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Will (Noah Schnapp), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), are now in their second year of high school. Along with their new friend, Max (Sadie Sink), they must face a new supernatural threat that emerges from the Upside Down, a dark and alternate dimension.
